Anyone have any problem with deleting your profile from The Profile Engine?

I have a habit of googling my own name from time to time and now is one of the times.

I am irked to see that The Profile Engine has not only taken my entire fb profile (which I made NOT public searchable beyond fb, and not only 'summarised' my entire timeline, and everything I shared publicly on that one page, it actually has a whole list of my friends on it as well!

FYI, I have set the privacy for my friends, edited my friends list so that it is only viewable to me... that was earlier today, and now few hours later, the page apparently still has the info it has grabbed from fb.

I guess, they will ADD things but not take them away?

I tried to claim the profile and entered an email to be associated with it, and trust me, I've entered two email addresses, and both times, I failed to claim the profile.

You see, they have set a 'rule' that you need to 'claim' the profile before you can delete the profile from their site. I smell something fishy because they will get hold of your email then and can have access to your email by spamming you with whatever things they will.

Only thing is, I followed the HELP intruction and nada, nothing happened and I still cannot 'claim the profile' nor deactive that profile. In the first place, how DID my profile appear in the profile engine anyway!!

Anyone with this kinda problem? I have read the alternative stated in the Help page - I don't wanna be scanning my personal identification documents and emailing them, hey, I am not even aware fb has that 'alliance' with The Profile Engine in the first place?

You may reply on twitter @suetiong as comments here needs moderating, i.e. takes longer to appear. Thanks!

Seems like we won't be having this 'problem' for too long once fb wins the lawsuit against you, C Claydon. Hope you are happy. *shrugs*

the blog i created was removed following a complaint from the real "chris claydon". As we can see, this guy is very sensitive to his own privacy. But has no respect whatsoever for others.
I uploaded the same content about him at:

Hi Sue. I've been having problems as well, and so have many of my friends. We've not been able to get rid of our profiles and absolutely hate having all of our info (old and new!) up. People will do anything for money; Chris Clayton's gains outweigh his need to remove this awful website. I can't believe we're in 2014 and Chris Clayton is getting away with this.
